Rule # 31: How to wear flare pants.

Previous years some people said that being fabulous means to avoid flared jeans, and boot-cuts, and boyfriend jeans. Pretty much you should wear only skinny jeans. But now, after several season of skintight pants, some designers have expanded their offerings with trousers cut more generously at the hems. 70s style are continuing to make a huge comeback, including the incredibly flattering wide legged or flare pants and our celebs love it!

Flare pants have moved quickly to near the top of the list of everybody's fashion favourites. They are cool, feminine and chic and also classy and elegant. The accentuate a curvy feminine shape perfectly and even make your legs appear longer and leaner.

This pants are for all body shape, just have in mind this tips:

PEAR SHAPE: avoid high-waisted and be careful of pocket placement avoiding flap pockets that have a lot of embellishments. The trick is to wear flare pants that tapper in at the knee and slightly flare out from knee to hem.

APPLE SHAPE: since this body type is more heavy on the upper part, your pants should create a more balanced look by filling out the lower half. Opt for wide leg, bell bottom, or palazzo pants to give a more proportional look. Choose pants with front and back pockets to help disguise your rounded upper body while flattering your curves.

ROUND SHAPE: pants with a straight classic cut suit the most to this body type because it has more weight around the tummy and will likely have large breasts. So wear pants that balance your upper body. Look for pants that are mid-rise. You want to waist to hit across the belly (not below or above it) to make your upper torso look longer. Another tip, go up a size and you will look much slimmer.

RECTANGLE SHAPE: if you have this body type, feel free to wear any style of flare pants with details or simple ones. However, if you're small or petite frame, this figure will look better in well-fitted flare pants. Forget baggy pants from the top down and avoid cuffed pants as they will cut the length of your legs and make you look even smaller.

HOURGLASS SHAPE: definitely flare pants are for women with this body shape because the styles showcase curves. Just make sure you choose a pair that cinches at the waist.

Just one last tip, whatever your body shape is, wear your flare pants always with heels. Have a look at the outfits I have created for you.

8 Ways of Wearing a White Jacket.

Hello dear followers! It’s been a while since my last post but I'm still around!

Today I want to talk about one of the most important pieces in every woman's wardrobe: the jacket. Owning the perfect jacket can give a boost to your look by making your style more interesting and chic. Wearing a jacket in the summer season might not be a great idea if you live in a warm country or you're travelling to a very hot/humid destination so, for this type of weather, the colour of choice is white.

Olivia Palermo - Kate Moss - Kim Kardashian

Lots of celebrities and bloggers around the world have surrendered to the charms of the blazer. A white blazer is a must if you want to look chic and turn heads, but the big question is: how can you combine a white blazer or jacket with the rest of your clothes? It's easy. Just take a look at these tips.

Wearing a white jacket is not exclusively for summer nights. You can also wear it during the day, even for the office if you’re clever enough to pull off the look. For example, wear a simple white blazer with palazzo pants and a nice, comfortable heel and pair it with a shirt. Be careful with your accessories and tone them down a little.

If you are having a night out with your friends, try the white blazer with your boyfriend’s ripped jeans or even with skinny ones, heels and a top. Add some accessories to finish the look.

Summer maxi-dresses are always one of the strongest trends of the season. If you are a big fan of these dresses, step out of your comfort zone and wear it with a white blazer. In this case, choose a simple, less structure blazer and pair it with gladiator sandals. You can wear it during the day and at the night. Just take care with your accessories.

Hope you find these tips useful and please send me some pics of yourself wearing your white blazer!

The Perfect Summer Dress

Hello dear followers! After 2 weeks of silence I'm back! I've been really busy so I didn't have time to come here and keep you up to date with more tips.

Well, summer is just around the corner, temperatures are getting higher and nobody wants to wear heavy clothes. That's why I'm here today to show you the perfect summer dress.

Slip dresses (Street Style)

Back in the 90s, girls around the world started wearing tiny dresses called slip dresses characterized by skinny spaghetti straps and a straight-cut bodice. Carrie Bradshaw in "Sex and The City" loved these types of dresses and we often saw her wearing them not only during the hot summer in NYC but also during the winter with a big coat.

Nicole Richie - Rachel Weisz -Rihana (Red carpet events)

Now designers around the world have brought them back and they have become one of the strongest pieces of the summer. But how and where should you wear a slip dress? Wear it during the day with a great pair of sandals and at night with a stunning pair of heels. If you are going to buy one, my tip is to choose one that is as simple as possible with no details. That will make it more versatile. There are also options with lace that makes it more wearable for night events. It's up to you.

How to make the most out of 15 pieces of clothing.

Hello dear followers and Happy New Year!

Have you all recovered from the festive season? Well you'd better put your batteries in and make the most of the sales!! One of the good things about the sales is that you can build a new wardrobe by buying basic pieces that will last you forever and some of them might be worn during the upcoming seasons.

For those of you that are on a tight budget this post might be really interesting. I have a challenge for you: I have chosen 15 pieces from shops like Mango, Zara, Topshop, J. Crew and some luxury accessories from Michael Kors and I have created 10 looks. The pieces I selected are basic ones in a basic colour palette and at a good price. I've just created 10 but I think you might be able to pull out a couple more of them.

Last year I gave you some useful tips you should have in mind when shopping on the sales. Have a look at them here.

When your budget is the number one priority, ideas like that are very welcome and appreciated.

Thanks so much for being there.
