The Perfect Summer Dress

Hello dear followers! After 2 weeks of silence I'm back! I've been really busy so I didn't have time to come here and keep you up to date with more tips.

Well, summer is just around the corner, temperatures are getting higher and nobody wants to wear heavy clothes. That's why I'm here today to show you the perfect summer dress.

Slip dresses (Street Style)

Back in the 90s, girls around the world started wearing tiny dresses called slip dresses characterized by skinny spaghetti straps and a straight-cut bodice. Carrie Bradshaw in "Sex and The City" loved these types of dresses and we often saw her wearing them not only during the hot summer in NYC but also during the winter with a big coat.

Nicole Richie - Rachel Weisz -Rihana (Red carpet events)

Now designers around the world have brought them back and they have become one of the strongest pieces of the summer. But how and where should you wear a slip dress? Wear it during the day with a great pair of sandals and at night with a stunning pair of heels. If you are going to buy one, my tip is to choose one that is as simple as possible with no details. That will make it more versatile. There are also options with lace that makes it more wearable for night events. It's up to you.

How to make the most out of 15 pieces of clothing.

Hello dear followers and Happy New Year!

Have you all recovered from the festive season? Well you'd better put your batteries in and make the most of the sales!! One of the good things about the sales is that you can build a new wardrobe by buying basic pieces that will last you forever and some of them might be worn during the upcoming seasons.

For those of you that are on a tight budget this post might be really interesting. I have a challenge for you: I have chosen 15 pieces from shops like Mango, Zara, Topshop, J. Crew and some luxury accessories from Michael Kors and I have created 10 looks. The pieces I selected are basic ones in a basic colour palette and at a good price. I've just created 10 but I think you might be able to pull out a couple more of them.

Last year I gave you some useful tips you should have in mind when shopping on the sales. Have a look at them here.

When your budget is the number one priority, ideas like that are very welcome and appreciated.

Thanks so much for being there.

Street Style yourself.

If you are one of those girls who wears random pieces of clothing with no personality at all and you want to change your image and create your very own personal style, this post is for you! It might be a bit difficult at the beginning but don't panic.

Sometimes clients ask me to help them with a full makeover. They want to change their style and the way they dress but they're afraid of making that change and this can be a big challenge – for me as well as my client.

The best way to make a new start and develop a new style is to use basic pieces in a basic colour palette. It will be like a blank canvas where we can add little pieces that make will your outfit pop. In this way, you’ll get the courage to mix and match and try bold colours and statement pieces, etc. that will make you stand out from the crowd.

I love looking at pictures of street style to get inspiration. Check this out:
